Recreate the vintage California Bear on a website banner for a photography company

Out of the Box Productions

Out of the Box Productions is a short term staffing agency for the commercial photography industry. We help individuals who were formally paid through 1099 get paid through W2 which is the California compliance. OOTB (Out of the Box) manages all payroll and HR compliance.

We would like to have a new take on the California Bear designed. We would like him to be the mascot of our company.

Company Mission: To keep corporations who hire commercial photographers California compliant through the correct HR and payroll process. The bear will be our mascot and will be the one "keeping everything in check".

Bear design description: We would like the bear to be in a similar style to the photo attached. We would like him to be standing next to or holding a box that has California coming out of it.
We would like him to be holding a gavel or papers (which will represent keeping with California laws).
We would also like a camera hanging around his neck and maybe a tall photo light (see attached picture) standing next to him.

Color scheme: Neutrals, or black and white with light color

The general style should be vintage California. But we still want this to be professional looking :)

Please note that we intend for this to be an ongoing project where we work with the designer to have different versions of the bear for different seasons and themes.
