MyST provides an automated process for the installation, configuration, build and deployment of Oracle Fusion Middleware, which transforms this resource intensive and highly error prone process into an automated, predictable and low risk process.
Speed and Simplicity are the stand out benefits of Rubicon Red's MyST, with customers realising
1. Significant cost and time savings
2. Predictable & consistent first time, every time environment configuration and provisioning.
3. Marked increase in productivity and time to benefit
We are looking for the following two related info-graphics:
1. The first info-graphic is to illustrate how MyST performs platform provisioning, some initial examples of this are illustrated on Page 7.
2. The second info-graphic is to illustrate how MyST performs the build, deployment and configuration of code onto the platform.
We currently have “draft” infographics which convey some of the ideas that we are trying to illustrate, these are detailed in the attached document which provides a more detailed brief as well as product description.
As the designer you are NOT restricted to working with these concepts, and you can be creative in how you choose to represent these ideas.
ADDITION TO BRIEF
Based on questions, feedback, etc.
With respect to platform provisioning.
There needs to be a stronger link between the graphics for the Blueprint, Model and Platform Instance.
The thinking behind this is the stages the design of a new product (e.g. car, iphone, building) would go through.
I.e. first you create your plans or blueprint, once you are happy with the blueprint, you create an actual model (or prototype) based on the blueprint (e.g. for testing the car in a wind-tunnel, to give people an idea what the building will look like, etc.), and then you build the real thing.
The stages we are going through are Blueprint -> Model -> Instance
So the idea is that at each stage in the process, we build on the output of the previous stage and get a step closer to the final outcome, a running platform instance either in the cloud or the data center.
The Graphical Wizard or Pre-Defined templates are then alternate ways for creating the Blueprint.
The graphic for the Platform Template needs to emphasise that its a pre-built Blueprint, that encapsulates knowledge, best practice, etc and has been tested and certified. It should indicate that its something special, for example the packaging for an iPhone indicates that the content is precious.
The wizard needs to indicate that its a Graphical UI, that makes things very simple to create your own Blueprints should a customer not want to use a template.
