My wife picked out the Name, one of her favorite vegetables (cooked) from the Philippines. KangKong. We have chosen three fonts that we really like 1. Vladimir Script 2. Lucida Calligraphy 3. Bradley Hand ITC and must incorporate one of these 3 fonts
The logo will be used on our web site, business cards, and also watermarks on our photographs so that the font, style, and logo are branded across all of our material.
We have not picked out our web site design quite yet, but have decided that it will be flash based Photo Gallery style in Black, or Middle Grey 18%. So the logo should be easily seen on that background. I.E. Dark Red on Black probably would not work.. But Dark red on Middle Grey would.. your recommendation for web background would be nice.
The watermarks will be white, middle grey 18%, and black, to stand out in the background of diverse photos. Check out our small resized panorama as an example of one of our panoranas with our "test watermark
The logo, business cards, etc... can be any color. We were thinking green (google Kangkong Photos for an idea of color of green). My wife thought maybe Kang in Green and Kong in Purple or Maroon. Also a field of color. This color will become the background of the web site, stationary, business cards etc. My wife and I thought about sky blue or teal, but also thought about rich earth tones as well. However!!! None of our color ideas are Set In Stone and we are not sure if those colors (Green and Purple/Maroon) would be too oppositional and not blend into a black or grey background of a website. That is, if we choose grey or black website background. Nor are we absolutely set in stone on those specific colors. This is where you come in.
We thought, maybe a kangKong bunch in the logo some where? (we did pick the EcoPlan example logo and it is more Organic like KangKong the vegitable/plant however were were thinking more modern, classy/classic and less organic more akin to the Neos Welnes Spa example) Maybe, maybe not. We are good at photography, not graphic design!!!
