WHAT IS MY BUSINESS?
I am starting a solo legal practice providing estate planning services
to high net worth individuals. My estate planning services include
providing advice on how to pass wealth securely, tax effectively and
asset protectively to the next generation. This includes drafting
Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and working with the client’s team
of other professional advisors (such as their financial advisor and/or
accountant) to ensure legal structures in place that complement and
further their wealth and financial affairs.
WHO ARE MY CLIENTS?
I am targeting two audiences:
1. High net worth individuals (and their families), ordinarily 45
years + with a strong concentration of clients approaching or in
retirement. Occupations would ordinarily be (or have been)
professionals and business entrepreneurs where they have accumulated
wealth offering a comfortable lifestyle (they like to travel) and (or
the prospect of) a secure self-funded retirement. This is usually then
access to the next generation of clients being their adult children
usually at the stage of starting their own families.
2. Other wealth professionals associated with my individual client’s
affairs – financial advisors, investment advisors, accountants and
insurance brokers etc. I seek to cultivate relationships so that
together we can serve as the client’s ‘panel of professionals’,
and for future referrals of clients.
THE MESSAGE OF THE DESIGN
The brand is me – Rachael Rofe. It is not a faceless law firm filled
with grey suits. I am PERSONAL, legal professional serving as a
TRUSTED ADVISOR to the client and their family - providing BESPOKE and
SOPHISTICATED legal services to HIGH NET WORTH INDIVIDUALS and the
other (FINANCIAL) PROFESSIONALS associated with their affairs. My
approach is multi generational (I usually advise the older parents who
then get their adult children in to see me too). I offer cross-appeal
to both my more mature clients and their younger lineage
What my clients like about me is that I am engaging, knowledgeable,
understanding and bring charm to my service delivery – a topic which
is quite somber but can be very fraught with emotion (death, money,
family – it can be a pretty fireworks combination). I am a dynamic
young woman providing high level sophisticated legal services in an
industry that is typically dominated by men and the old school law
approach. I would love my logo to be a nod to the sophistication of my
service offering, but reflect my fresh and modern style. This is not a
logo for a bland accountant or law firm. This does not mean that the
logo should be casual, but rather it should have some personality,
warmth whilst retaining professionalism.
