I would like the logo to be easily recognizable. Preferably a little more simplistic; people should be able to look at it and instantly know what it represents. While I do want "Tech 34" to be included, overall I would like it to be versatile. I want to be able to remove the name and have it still recognizable on items I may wish to brand in the future (branded USB sticks, work attire, etc).
Since I'm opening a computer repair business (with tech in the name) I'm thinking the obvious direction is something tech themed.
Perhaps its irrelevant to the design process, but if it helps with a theme at all, my company culture will be as follows: Customer and community centric. While efficiently and effectively fixing issues as they come in is important, listening to a customer, to how or why an issue is affecting them, is paramount. Knowing the customer better presents opportunities to better fulfill their needs, which in turn builds trust in my service. Being in a small town means that everyone knows everyone else. Word of mouth is key. To that point, being a business owner nearly requires being involved in the community.
Since I plan on using the logo in various sizes, I would like the end product to be in vector format so that it is easily scalable. Additionally, I would like the design to easily translate to greyscale.
