Washlava is Laundry 2.0. At Washlava, our mission is to remake the coin laundry business. We are a team of innovators with experience from the worlds of retail, travel, web and mobile technologies. We are committed to delivering an upgraded coin laundry experience, with the most professional attendant service, and the finest fleet of wash/dry equipment anywhere. We believe you deserve the best laundry experience possible and our promise is to deliver this every time you choose Washlava. As laundromats are a ubiquitous experience, our target audience is broad, but focused on value-oriented low to middle income consumers, many of whom rent their homes. Washlava also aims to market itself to the Hispanic community, who are frequent users of coin laundries. In addition, Washlava markets its wash-dry-fold services to higher income consumers and companies as an alternative to doing laundry themselves.

Color selection is important in this logo design, as it will be the basis for a color palette to follow. The color palette will be translated into not only signage, but interior and exterior design elements.
Cleanliness, hot water and modern equipment are important attributes to customers of coin laundries, and they are willing to drive extra distances and pay more in these facilities. Stewardship of these attributes in our brand identity and physical environments will not only be differentiating but will also allow for premium pricing. We are seeking an identity that expresses our emphasis on these features in store design.
