Rubi is a new high quality "Made in Italy" sport clothing brand, designed for the men dedicated to the sport of polo on horses. It is a brand that wants to bring back to the polo field the elegance of the 50s (see iconic figures such as Porfirio Rubirosa) and its timeless style, while striking a balance through an innovative selection of fabrics studied purposely to satisfy the modern needs of this active, dangerous and outdoorsy sport. The target audience are the amateur and professional polo players of the world (mainly Argentina, UK, USA, South Africa & Europe) who are looking for high quality and technically advance polo sportswear, to shine both on and off the field. These players understand the Italian quality and elegance, as well as being attached to the traditions that come with this sport. The age range goes from 18-years-old up to 50-years-old.

The logo also needs to be applicable to fashion garments, in the form of labels, sown-on, stamps on leather, applied on buttons etc (fabric, metal, plastic, leather) and adaptable in size according to needs. It is meant to be settled and ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY from today's polo related logos that stick to the cliché of the small horse with the player on top in the middle of the action, mallets crossing, horse shoe shape, polo helmet unless it is designed as a new reinterpretation of it with a cool twist. Ideally it should result from a research of the 50s, polo in the 50s and the character of Porfirio Rubirosa (inspiration to the brand)[See reference photos] and maybe make use of a little reference to the Argentine colours/gaucho style. It should be simple: inspired from the past yet modern in its design. Easily recognizable once the brand launches. Some of the colors to refer to are attached amongst the images and documents below.
