We provide hydraulic torquing for the oilfields. This is our main line of service. The name Ready Torque is to imply that we're available and ready at all times. We also do hydrostatic (water testing) for the oilfields. Not quite sure if there is anyway to incorporate this into the logo as well. If you needed to add some blue to do that it would be o.k.
The Hex shape shows up a lot with these type of businesses, so that may help you to include that in the logo.
Please look at the following link to see pictures of the equipment that we use. If we could make it look neat, I'd love to incorporate the shape of the tool in the logo somehow. Thanks. http://www.torcup.com/pop-up_galler…llery.html
This is a predominately male atmosphere in the oilfields, so it's very masculine. I would try to shy away from graphics and fonts that are overly fancy.
Here are a couple websites that provide the type of equipment that we use:
This is a website for a company that does the same type of work. If you look at the photos on the bottom of these 2 pages it may give you an idea:
I would like the phrase "and Testing" to be easily removed from the logo if needed. It should be much smaller than the logo.
I'm not opposed to something retro looking if it flows right.
