Leidos is the name of the company. We are a defense contractor providing services and solutions in support of the federal government and other fed/civ customers. Our services include cybersecurity, big data, command and control and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
AELHouse is the name of a cybersecurity project within Leidos. It stands for Attack and Exploitation Lab. It's main purpose is to sharpen the cybersecurity skills of our employees in the areas of malware analysis, reverse engineering, penetration testing, forensics, vulnerability analysis and exploitation development.
The AELHouse is a virtual (safe) sandbox where employees can come to sharpen their skills, do testing, try training exercises, add vulnerability research, etc to ensure we are on the cutting edge of solving today's modern cyber threats both for our own good and for our customers.
Leidos is also looking to package the AELHouse and sell it to our customers.
We want the logo to feel comfortable to employees and customers. We want it to be inviting - something that encourages folks to come in and give the environment a try. There are various levels of exercises, so we don't want folks to be intimidated.
