We are about to enter the mobile invoicing, quoting and payments market with a solution branded as 'Blitz' that is directed at Small to Medium Business.
Our solution will enables the merchant (sme) to issue invoices and quotes - and get paid on the spot or in real time using the Blitz App - on their iphone, ipad and pc.
From a high level technical perspective Blitz is a cloud based app which ensures no matter where the merchant travels their accounts management and payments information is up to date. Blitz also syncs with their accounting package software.
Once a merchant completes a job - the Blitz app can enable them to take a payment from their customer on the spot using cash or credit card. The customers also have the choice to defer the payment and pay via the Blitz website.
Blitz is one of a number emerging mobile payment solutions about to launched to the market. Therefore its important that we have a distinctive positioning strategy.
One of the main Blitz target markets are tradespeople - which research suggests that there are over 800k in Australia.
The 'Tradies' we have spoken to love the convenience and efficiencies of managing their business via a tool such as Blitz.
The term Blitz will have cut through with Tradies as its often used as a colloquial term for completing a job on time, to budget and to customer expectations - as in "I blitzed it". Also is has BL and IT could be said as "Bill It" The URL we have is blitzap.com "bill it (z) app"
We want our logo to be distinctive - and perhaps with a tag line underneath it "Quote, Invoice, Get Paid" - which represents the three main parts of the Blitz solution.
We have used the colours blue and green throughout our development phase and would like the logo to match the existing colour scheme.
However, we want the logo to convey energy, focus and superior craftsmanship - which are the traits any good 'Tradie' would like to exhibit in performing their job.
