Note: Some people are confused as to what a Sentinel is. Basically it's a protector (like a Knight), defender, guardian....etc. So "Blue Sentinel" is another nickname for Law Enforcement Officers.
PLEASE see the sample logos at our PhotoBucket link to get an idea of what we're looking for style-wise (concept, lighting, shading, etc) - http://s62.photobucket.com/user/sgt…0We%20Like
or view the PNG attachment we have provided.
Need a logo designed for our American Law Enforcement Apparel/Product business (t-shirts, hoodies, hats, Thin Blue Line products).
We currently have a logo in use (https://teespring.com/stores/blue-sentinel-gear) but it doesn't convey who we are, what we do or what we offer. The Greek/Roman/Spartan Helmet & Sword logos have been done to death and we need something fresh that has impact.
We cannot accept generic/stock/template/over-used clipart logos in part or in whole. The winning designer will submit original artwork - we have no interest in lawsuits for copyright infringement from copied work or stock images. We want something completely original that will separate us from the pack and make our customers want to buy our brand.
We also need a designer that understands American Law Enforcement, the images/concepts that resonate with them (U.S. Law Enforcement Officers and civilian supporters) and how those images/concepts relate back to our company name (Blue Sentinel Gear). Logo should convey strength, trust & honor.
Looking for a full-color logo with Police blue, dark neutrals, light neutrals worked into the design along with your own ideas. Logo also needs to come across well in grayscale as it will be used for t-shirt printing.
Here's what we're looking for:
1.) Must be a 3D logo - dynamic, distressed, masculine - (NO CROSSED RIFLES in the design)
2.) Logo must be full color and vector based (EPS/AI). It should also come across well in grayscale.
3.) Completed logo must be fully editable upon delivery.
4.) Original artwork/concepts ONLY. Stock images/vectors/templates will not be accepted. No wiggle room here. We're designers too so we've seen EVERY generic/stock/template/overused logo concept out there. We want something that unique & new that will separate us from the pack.
5.) Ownership (copyright & trademark) will be transferred to us and become our property. You are free to use the completed logo in your portfolio for your self-promotion under a free license.
6.) As previously stated, we are not interested in the typical Helmet & Sword logos (such as the one we're using now). A dozen competitors in our field use a variation of this kind of logo and we're looking to separate ourselves from them.
Hit us up with any questions! Thanks!
