UCB works through over 30 countries to distributes an International daily Bible reading devotional booklet called "The Word for Today". Each edition around 3 million copies are printed. As well there are email and web versions going out every day around the globe. Translations are being added often and already it is available in 19 languages. We need a strong logo to connect these publications.

The key we are looking for is a strong 'icon' logo that can be placed against the title of our devotional in any language and still represent an 'Inspirational' daily reading from the Bible. The approach would be similar to a publishers logo.
For instance our English translation is called "The Word for Today", our Hungarian edition is MAI IGE and our Albanian edition is Fjala për Sot. Future edition in Mandarin and Thai will include script language titles but we need the icon to be recognisable in a universal sense.

2012-03-19_1145_001.png was a concept from last year that was considered to simple and lacked connection with the heart of the devotional.
2012-03-19_1146.png was given to show how we hope to have an icon that can be internationalised ie. the text can change to suit the name and script of the local language.
