The logo needs to communicate: MOBILE PHONE and JUICY (the latter as a positive, tasty, delicious, desirable, fun, exciting). Also... modern, fun, trusted, professional.
Juicy Software ONLY makes Google Android app software. Not iPhone, not iPad, not web sites.
Logo must be usable at all sizes, including small which means the logo should not be too intricate or complex
The logo may be best done as a symbol for a mobile phone (perhaps a thick outline with a break for a more modern look), that expresses juicyness with splashes or drips, or a leaf (like on fruit). I'm open to other ideas.
If a smartphone shape is used, it must NOT obviously be an iPhone, it must be generic, and follow modern trends for devices with little to no bezel around the screen (iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8, but probably NO bezel as that is where things are moving). A rounded rectangle may be safest and future-proof shape.
If the logo hints at Google Android, even subtley, that is a positive. (or at least NOT suggest iPhone/iPad)
Space for an (optional) subtitle of "Android Apps" (it should be possible to use the logo with and without this).
The logo will be used on invoices, emails, inside apps, Google Play app store listings, and possibly social media
The sister company (Juicy Property) uses orange (#FF6524) and a green in its logo, so this new project COULD use these to match the existing Juicy Software logo, but it is not crucial they match. The green could match Android green (#A4C639) https://developer.android.com/distr…lines.html
Modern, bright, flat colours (a la Google Material Design). Only subtle use of gradients.
Something modern, clean, and easy to read.
Consider using Google's "Product Sans", which is the typeface used on modern Android devices.
No apples (iPhone) or lemons (bitter) in the image please.
Do not use the actual Android logo as it may change, but if possible hint at it (e.g. with colour)
Output to be a Sketch vector file please, and a very large bitmap
See attachment which includes logos I like and inspiration for what might work.
