** UPDATES **
After day 1 of all the *awesome* submissions, I have a few comments, realizations, and dilemmas :). But hopefully this info will help u see what's in my head lol
1.) Having a big dilemma on one fundamental aspect of the logos (I appreciate all the variety!!) Basically the sensual/burlesque/girly girly me loves the pretty, fancy, feminine, swoopy script letters and am attracted to those and think they are fitting for this type of boutique. The engineer in me (my real day job) likes the fonts that are cleaner and easier to read next to some pretty and feminine emblem/picture/design and thinks that is more logical/appropriate for a brand. I am really torn here, but those are the two types of designs I am leaning towards. *** Please feel free to add comments or suggestions or general design principals that you think apply to this dilemma of mine :) :) ***
2.) I definitely like the designs and want to encourage more designs that have the Kali Karnal name in the logo, along with an emblem or a fancy K, or just some peice of the full, larger logo that can be pulled off and be used as a smaller stand alone logo/symbol.
3.) A few designers have shown version of the logo with the "Karnal Desires" line name and another version of the logo with the "Kali Kids" line name and I like that idea. Ultimately I would like a primary "Kali Karnal" logo that has the ability to further incorporate a subtitle.
4.) I had listed several colors initially but so far most people have used the dark eggplant purple, but I am actually liking that color the best anyway. Still open to other colors but want to keep it in the deep, darker intimates. And am definitely open to using multiple colors.
90% of the clothing line I make is burlesque clothing, vintage style attire, bustles, Edwardian style clothing, shimmy belts, and burlesque accessories for women (Karnal Desires line). However, I have a small line of couture clothing for little girls that includes things like tutu's, dresses, and petticoats (Kali Kids line). My target audience is women ages 20 - 45. Typically alternative and liberal, most of them are mothers. A perfect logo would be classy and feminine with subtle sexiness.
