We are direct to consumer online retailer of mens fitness apparel (gym clothes). We make high quality, well fitting clothing that is priced better than our competition. Our target customer is upper middle class men in major metropolitan areas that exercise regularly. They live an active and busy life, with a lot of time spent in the office. They spend an hour or so at the gym each day, and need functional and well priced clothing to workout in. They currently wear nike and lululemon to the gym. We are based in NYC and will focus our initial efforts on the NYC market. We are a new company and therefore do not have a past logo to share. Our first product to launch will be mens dry-fit shirts, followed by shorts thereafter. The branding on the shirt will be minimal, as we do not like overly branded goods. Given that we are a fitness brand, we are focused on being modern and sleek. We do not want traditional or heritage. We are available to answer additional questions about the brand should that be helpful. UPDATE: One thing we want to be sure to incorporate is a logo within the name, or alongside the name, that can be used as stand alone branding. Similar to Nike's Swoosh. We are targeting a high end, modern, contemporary, and masculine logo. Our target demographic will be urban professionals - middle aged, high income earners, care about appearance, spend on quality, but understand that quality does not mean it must be expensive. They are frequent gym goers. They live a busy and active life. they don't spend a ton of time in their gym clothing, and do not need to spend the inflated prices charged by comparable fitness apparel companies. They want to wear something that looks and feels good, and suggests a high end feel.
UPDATE: a lot of designers have used an arrow along the U or the P. This is interesting, but we would like something more unique. Let's think outside the box! Thanks so much for all the submissions!!
