The Institute was formed a year ago and like many start-ups, our original branding and logos were done on the run and are not to the standard we seek. We require an enhancement or redesign for the presentation of our stylized name and our logos.
At formation we adopted a presentation of our name simply in a deep blue Bold Arial Rounded, and the logo a2i styled through Wordart. We used the a2i abbreviation in our email address to avoid the longer full name and want to continue to use this email address. When the website was designed, it included the stylized light globe and a stylized version of our name.
We now want to rationalize our presentation styles so that we have consistency across our website, letterhead, reports and business cards. What is fixed is that we need to be consistent with the color scheme of our website and as stated, that we retain our email address. Beyond this, we are not tied to using the a2i logo elsewhere and we probably prefer not to use the light globe as this image is overused in innovation.
Have a two stage design requirement, to redevelop our stylized name and logo, and then based on this, redesign our letterhead, report and memorandum word templates, and design a new business card. The design will need to:
• The colors will be consistent with the website colors
• The images should work across our intended media
• The images should be modern but reflect a professional tone consistent with an organisation that is engaged in informing national policy for innovation in government and media circles.
