I have just made my first range of underwear and about to launch the website http://www.justintayler.com
I want to make the next batch of underwear to carry a logo in the centre of the band. So this will be the first use for the designed logo.
Previously I was a photographer, this brand will be for the image conscious so will need be iconic. Ideally the resulting logo will be either square or slightly wider than tall so that it works well on underwear.
I've had 4 basic ideas, and have attached sets of photos to demonstrate my ideas. Please just choose 1 to explore that you think has the most potential. (Please download the attached files, which give examples of what I mean, with explanation below)
1. Simple - Based on a trident (will need to make the trident unique) with the letters j t either side. Although the trident should be able to work stand alone.
2. Phoenix - try and condense into the simplest yet recognisable image of a pheonix, would be great if the result could be something like the roman eagle in final form. Perhaps using the JT carried in a circle.
3. Based on the shape of the Qatar logo, made with the horizontal lines. Containing a different animal though, I'm thinking of an aztec style eagle or bull as I think the asymmetry will work well with the qatar shape.
4. More intricate Versace style logo - based in a circle, however with the pattern around the edge being a JT patern (e.g. JTJTJTJT around the edge, possibly would work with J the right way then T upside down will look a bit like the Versace pattern) Inside could be an intricate design, possible like the muscle physique or the more complicated physique. But can really use your creativity.
