Qual a sua visão?
Affiliphone needs a design for a Facebook page for one of its products, more specific for the “Welcome” page, which will be the first, the users encounter when looking up our product at Facebook. An important part of our Facebook presence is the like gate on this welcome page. A like gate is a restriction on visible content, i.e. when the user likes the page he/she gets access to the content on the like gated page. However, the user can still see the content on the other pages. We need two designs in 3D: - A design for the page before the users have liked it - A design for the page after the users have liked it Our Facebook universe concentrates on a treasure hunt. We use this terminology in our texts and want it to be reflected in the design of the Facebook page. With the page design, we want to signal a closely connected world and communicate the opportunity to be in touch with family and friends, although you live far away from them, and that it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. On the welcome page before the like, the most important fixed aspect is a treasure chest, half open with a view to the globe inside, signifying international phone calls. We imagine that the chest is surrounded by glitter and shine. Across the globe, a fixed aspect is a banner with a telephone number. However, before liking the users will not be able to see the telephone number. Here, you are free to be creative – should the telephone number consist of x’s or should we work with transparency? Another very important fixed aspect is one/more arrow(s) pointing to the “like” button (which will be in the second row of the headline). You are free to be creative as to what this/these arrow(s) should look like and where to place it/them. Perhaps using the glitter and shine from the chest could be an idea? The welcome page after the like will be identical with the page before the like, but the treasure chest is now open and gives a full view of the globe, and the users are now able to see the telephone number on the banner. The chest has to have the same size as the chest on the first page. For both pages it is very important that the design of the chest doesn’t go below the fold of a normal Facebook page, i.e. that you are able to see the whole design without having to scroll down the page.
Because of the telephone number on the banner and because we would like to add text to the design, it is important that we can edit the design, e.g. in Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. The design should with other words be very flexible. The text that we would like to add will be placed below the treasure chest. Make sure that there is room for 2-3 lines of text. The design is first and foremost meant for the Facebook page, but we would very much like to be able to use it on web and print as well. The target audience is male and female people living/working/studying abroad. That could be expatriates, exchange students, immigrants and so on. We want the page to appeal to both young and old. Please use vivid colors! The attached examples are only meant as inspiration as to what the overall structure of the design should look like.
