We need a media kit/brand book to send out to companies, journalists, etc. explaining our background and mission - basically presenting to them why they should write about/invest in/share us !
This should be a mostly aesthetic accompaniment to our main mission statement: "The art market is big business, but the art world is a bigger opportunity. Consider any of the leading art fairs: ARCO Madrid, Art Basel, Frieze. Around 300 galleries can take part, and perhaps a couple thousand works are sold - but these fairs receive over 70,000 visitors a piece! Even in its most commercial context, art is overwhelmingly consumed as an experience, not as objects.
This is to say nothing for non-commercial venues: there are currently more than 65 museums with more than 1 million visitors annually, and the largest draw close to 10 million visitors. The mission of ART.WORLD is in these experiences."
