UK Meds
We are a online pharmacy in which currently the customers answer a long set of questions and are then issued a prescription.
This new web app (that you are designing) that will be part of the Account section of UK Meds, it will allow the patient to speak directly via a face to face (video chat) to the prescriber so they can be diagnosed more efficiently.
You will be designing a web app, basically this means its not a native application on phones/tablets but will be used from “safari” or the web browser and also used on normal PC’s.
The design of the app needs to be in-keeping of the UK meds brand guidelines and current website all assets and guidelines are included below.
You will only need to design 4 rather simple pages, that need to feel modem.
1st Page
This needs to have a button that says “See a doctor live now” and then “current wait time 3 minutes” let’s say, also underneath that could we have a button that says “Schedule an Appointment” which then brings up a nicely designed calendar for them to select an appointment. Then they can input their mobile number so they can be texted with a reminder. Underneath that needs to be a small sentence that says “Consultations cost £15 per 10 minutes. Prescriptions are free. No hidden charges. Medications will be discounted via this service.”
When they click the “See a doctor live no” button it will pop up with a credit card modal (similar to stripes is what I was hoping (https://cinchws.com/wp-content/uplo…9x1024.png), something along the lines. But it has a message saying “Consultations cost £15.00 per 10 minutes, you will be charged after the consultation with a pre-auth at the start.”
2nd Page
This will be a very simple page that is a waiting room, this is where you need to be creative. There needs to be a timer saying “The doctor will be with you in xx minutes” and then a button saying “Notify me when the doctor is ready”. I was thinking if we could have health tips or something on this page. It is essentially a waiting page, so just be as creative as you can.
3rd Page
This is the consultation page; it will consist of the doctor’s face on a video and also the patients face. Also, a small chat box with notes on.
There will need to be a timer, with “current cost £10.00” and a “End visit” button.
It needs to clearly display the doctors name

4th Page
This is the final page that will display notes from the doctor along with the prescription and medication the patient needs.
The prescription will usually consist of.
The a image of the product (https://www.ukmeds.co.uk/omeprazole) and then “Strength, Package Size”
Along with dosage instructions which is like “TAKE ONE DAILY”
Their needs to be a “Buy it now for £10.00” (Receive tomorrow), or “Print Prescription” we are trying to incentivize them to “Buy it now” so underneath the print prescription could we have “Please be warned your local pharmacy can charge you as much as they like for a private prescription”
This app will need to look and feel like our current website does, https://www.ukmeds.co.uk , people will be able to access this "web app" only if they are logged in and are a member of UK Meds.
Here is our storybook with all of our brand elements and how the website should look and feel and how we link etc etc, and also attached is the fonts & brand guidelines.
There are competitors doing similar for help with inspiration:
