We recently developed our company Operating Principles and would like a way to show them visually in our various office locations. We'll have posters produced to have on display in our conference rooms and hallways to help embed these into our culture and drive how we think and work together.
We'd like the poster to have a similar look and feel to the other posters we have - specifically the core values. The Operating Principles for the company go hand in hand with our core values.
Each of our main Core Values start with the verb "BE" - BE HELPFUL, BE HUMBLE, BE HONEST, BE HUMAN. These describe a state of being.
Our Operating Principles are the patterns of behavior that have served us well. Think of them as the recipes that lead to great performance at PrecisionLender. They describe how we do things. Each Principle starts with "We" and then describes that pattern of action that has served us well over the years. Operating Principles might change. What has always worked may one day not work as well. They might also get extended or revised to suit a particular department. For example, maybe the Compliance Department might decide that, for them, "We favor speed and a bias to action" while great for the rest of the company, might need to be replaced with "We preserve trust." Not only is that acceptable, but making such things explicit will be really valuable.
