The client wanted something engaging, relatable yet impactful, and has emphasized that the piece should inspire their audience to see that a better and brighter life is possible. Following the client's suggestion, I painted the subject as a young woman who seemed as if she had already been through tough experiences and has overcome much in life. I think it also fits platform's message that everyone is welcome, as well as relates to the target group it aims to support. For her background I added a calm, peaceful mountain landscape that hopefully serves as an inspiration that better living is attainable with the help of the support platform.
