I like clean, simple, modern designs, but I don't necessary want to look exactly like the other monthly subscription sites (stichfix.com, barkbox, birchbox.com) with the "Get started" button. However, it is important, like these other subscription sites, for the home page to clearly explain how the site works (with numbers, icons et cetera) and see a few testimonials, take a free lesson and then compel them to sign up! Yay!
I fuschia, but there is too much of it right now -- instead, it should just be a touch (links in fuschia) and perhaps another color that really draws your attention to whatever needs to be highlighted (Log In button, Become a member et cetera).
I love anything and everything Christian Lacriox does! I would wallpaper my whole house in his designs! His stuff is very busy, but it still works. (The Style Academy doesn't have to be that busy, but perhaps a French flair). I do like my main site, noellecellini.com as it's clean, but still chic.
