- Color scheme is green and blue.
- Similar to catalogue colors and images can be provided from catalogue, however we are looking for a new fresh design, that incorporates the traditional elements of the brand.
- Want the site to be simple and clean, easy to read, cutting edge, and youthful, yet professional with a high degree of expertise.
** New Information:
We want more whitespace in the designs.
In the existing Trinity Power brand identity, blue and green never appear together. They are either on their own or as grey and green or blue and green. There is always much more green than blue. Blue is an accent colour. Having said that, please use the green sparingly, use it to move the eye through the design. We really want to keep this design clean and crisp.
I have attached some more PDF examples for you to work from below under the "Attach Files" category. Hopefully those will help guide you.
We will be purchasing and building the site using this ThemeForest, Wordpress theme:
There are lots of choices of headers, homepage layouts etc. Please feel free to explore the theme and use the elements/widgets, etc. available in the theme.
The winning designers theme will be partly chosen on the ability to integrate their design with this theme.
We are now leaning strongly toward the use of photography over icons. We feel it is a more professional representation of who we are. The larger icons feel more like a "mom and pop" shop type of organization and it is important for us to be able to be viewed as strong competitors or partners to organizations like:
(Please note, these are not site examples that we like the design of, just examples of larger organizations that we compete with or deal with.)
See the addition of the Mec.ca website example below for what we are wanting with regards to photography in the site.
There are examples of photography styles attached for you investigate or to use - they have been created from the examples from the Inovado theme, and could work well for the images we will have available to work with or need to shoot.
Also attached is a folder of some other Trinity Images for you to use as placement images.
You are also welcome to use iStock photography if you have something more inspiring and fitting in mind.
If you are going to use icons in the revised site concepts, please refer to selected icon concepts and the style guide I have attached below the in the "Attach Files" section of the brief. The file is called: "Icons.jpg"
