This is a new small farm with natural growing practices. While we have a lot of unique berry trees and bushes planted and will be a focus, they won't yield for at least another year. Other future plans include chicken eggs - we have a small flock now.
Our current target is residents of Lake Vermilion and seasonal vacationers to the area that are looking for organic local food sources.
This year is our first year keeping bees and are excited to be able to sell honey. We want to expand next year. Our main focus this year though is market produce. Some products will include:
> standard market veggies (heirloom garlic, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, asparagus, carrots, etc)
> unique/specialty veggies (examples: Jerusalem artichokes a.k.a. sun chokes, burdock root, and heirloom squash)
> cut flowers (like sunflowers)
> herbs (like lavender, comfrey, etc)
> a very limited number of CSA produce boxes")
