I then chose butterflies, a bug that was not scary but beautiful and child friendly. Using a baby/child I used to cuddle with the bug to symbolize the company name. In my design process I kept this in mind not to be overly detailed but just enough to convey a clean and useful design. I used the A's to display fish. By putting the water in the inside I was able to display as though the fish were inside of it. Keeping my design simple and clean it will be able to be used for not only a customer loyalty card scheme but many other applications.")

In my process I took an octopus ( per the design brief ) and added fun and curious features such as the colors, the way the eyes are placed, and the facial expression. I also wanted to convey the different areas of social media. Photos ( camera ), Blogs/Articles ( clipboard ), messaging ( pencil ). Each symbol of the character can stand alone or be all together. In the end I created a friendly character that would please any social media area.")

( toverboom translates into magic tree )Using the elephants trunk I was able to establish the base for my design. I added leaf like shapes as well as added branches from the trunk of the elephant to form the tree. The result is a simple long-lasting logo that can be changed over time with ease.")

In developing this logo I took much of that into consideration. I used an abstract Doberman, using a bit of color to break up the black and white. This added a bit of uniqueness and wasn't so bland. I kept the company name simple and to the point not using any unnecessary details that would be lost in the embossing process. This resulted in a logo that was ready to be wore, printed, embossed, etc.")

I used the company name to come up with a beach background effect. I remember going to the beach in the late afternoon and hearing the sound of the waves gently kissing the shore was very soothing. I grew my design from there. Using a baby calmly sleeping in the foreground and the colors of blue, tan, and brown, conveys the feeling of safe and trustworthy. As I put my design ideas together the result was perfect it gave all the aspects of the business a visual impact and I was very happy.")

I knew I wanted to use a light-bulb to visually show electricity. As I looked at the light bulb, it came to me. Using the M as the inside and the E as the bottom I could tie all of the aspects together making one cohesive design. The end result was a design you could use with or without the company name, could stand alone, and could be used with infinite colors.")

The name Bois Joli ( pretty Woods ) a vineyard surrounded by a beautiful oak/fir forest. They also have a small flock of “babydoll” sheep grazing in the vineyard. After thinking over the details I decided to go with the approach of showing the vineyard exactly how it sounded. beautiful, simple, and natural. I took an oak tree to place in the center of my design with a sheep settled to the left. I wanted the name Bois Joli to stand out so I decided to place a banner style background behind. As I looked over my logo there was something missing, something that would bring it all together. That was when I decided to add the rings around the outer edges.. This process allowed me to create a timeless wine label.")

The logo was to be used in numerous techniques, such as embossing, printing, store advertisements, etc. so having a creative font and unique placement was key for me. I also wanted to give the logo an identifying mark. ( R ) I took the letter R from rawhide and placed it into a western style shape with diminishing circles to both the left and right sides. I chose this style to be not only cohesive with the brand but be able to make it recognizable by itself. I also wanted the logo to be able to adjust to different products, thus the two different arrangements of the logo.")

The company is much more than just chocolates, so I also added the nuts into the design to show the more rounded products of the company. The result was a unique and fun chocolate loving logo design.")
