As the client mentioned that she wanted both elements marks on the cover I've depicted the Air Element (top left) with the purple spiral and the Fire Element (down right) with the red flames, I've also used design that resemble of the Japanese tattoo photos included in the brief.
I used a neutral stone textured background to make the marks \"pop\" more.
For the font I used one that tied with the flames with the spikes but that also have curls that remind of the Air Element, it's also a font that is used a lot in Fae/Elementals covers.")

I’m Maude (Makerva is my nickname), a born and raised Canadian who's a self-taught digital artist. I started specializing in book covers design in 2018 and I've been hooked eversince.
My preference in imagery are more PNR, UF and Fantasy oriented but I'm open to other genres aswell.
I’m a photo manipulator but I also do some digital painting on my pieces.
