I am very happy with my logo from 99 Designs. I am a new business and just had a idea for my logo; I knew what I wanted but was unsure how I wanted it. The designer that I worked with sent me a few designs and instantly I could see my business in the designs. I appreciate all the time the designer put into my logo.

The variety of designs that were submitted was very impressive, almost overwhelming, and I really appreciated being able to see so many diverse thoughts. However, unless a designer has a portfolio representing their work, you should proceed with caution. I really wanted to give a new designer the chance to do something great, but they proved to be very inept at very basic branding beyond coming up with a creative logo concept. Ultimately I'm happy with the logo, but I ended up paying for the idea and not a well-executed design.

This was my first time using 99designs. I was referred by a friend whom has used the service before. I chose the silver option that was $499 USD. For choosing the silver option, the sales copy stated that I would get beginner to medium designers. I had about 15 or so designers working on my design. I only had beginner designers working on my designs. So I was a little bummed about that. Had I chose the bronze option, the cost would have been $299 USD and I would’ve only had beginner designers. It seems like I was upsold to the silver option but in my opinion it wasn’t worth it. Other than the price and not getting medium level designers that I paid for, I didn’t really have too many issues. The website and dashboard is easy to use and to contact designers. You can download all of your design files as soon as you award the winning design by the designer and after you sign the transfer agreement.

This site is AMAZING! Don’t go any where else for your business needs. This was my first time using this site and I was beyond impressed!
